This policy explains what personal information Mayfair Living (“we”, “us”) collects when you use mayfairliving.ae or contact us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with applicable UAE data protection law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Quotation and project enquiries: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, emirate, quantities, the products or packages you selected (with colours, sizes and add-ons) and any message you write.
- Project files: floor plans, BOQs, drawings, specifications or reference images you send us.
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
- Conversations: messages you send by email, phone or WhatsApp, and details we need to arrange a home visit, delivery and assembly, such as your address and access instructions.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. We use it to keep the site secure and working. See our Cookie Policy for the small number of cookies the site uses.
How we use your information
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a tailored quotation.
- To arrange home visits and measurements, and to deliver and assemble your furniture.
- To manage orders, invoices, warranty requests and after-sales service.
- To send newsletters, new collections and offers, only if you have signed up. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe.
- To keep the website secure, prevent misuse and improve how it works.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We rely on your consent (for example, newsletters), on the steps needed to prepare a quotation or fulfil an order you have asked for, on our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business, and on our legal obligations.
If you contact us on WhatsApp, the message is sent through WhatsApp, a service run by Meta. WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to how it handles your data. Our “Chat with us” buttons pre-fill a message with your selections. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to serve you:
- Delivery, installation and logistics partners, so they can deliver and assemble your order.
- Manufacturers and suppliers, where a custom or made-to-order piece needs your specifications (usually without your contact details).
- IT, hosting and email providers who run our website and systems for us.
- Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.
Some of these providers may store data outside the UAE. When that happens we take steps to make sure your information stays protected.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and order records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. After that we delete or anonymise the information.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information, or restrict how we use it;
- stop sending you marketing emails (you can also use the unsubscribe link);
- withdraw any consent you have given.

Security
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to customer information is limited to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, so please do not send payment card details by email or WhatsApp.
Children
Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
