These terms apply to your use of mayfairliving.ae and to any quotation or order you place with Mayfair Living (“we”, “us”). Please read them before you place an order. Your written quotation and order confirmation form part of these terms. If they say something different, the quotation or order confirmation applies.
1. Using this website
The website shows our products, packages and services. We try hard to keep everything accurate, but colours, finishes and materials can look different on screen, and natural materials such as wood, marble, travertine and stone vary from piece to piece. Product images may include styling items that are not part of the product or package.
You may not misuse the website, copy its content for commercial use, or try to interfere with how it works.
2. Prices and quotations
- We do not sell online and we do not show public prices. Prices are given in a written quotation, prepared for your selections, quantities and location.
- A quotation is valid for the period stated on it. After that, prices and availability may change.
- Unless the quotation says otherwise, prices are in UAE dirhams (AED) and include VAT where it applies.
- Delivery, assembly, home visits and any extra services are included only where the quotation says so.
3. Orders and payment
- An order is confirmed only when we send you a written order confirmation and receive the deposit or payment stated in your quotation.
- The payment schedule, including any deposit and the balance due before delivery, is set out in your quotation.
- Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received full payment.
4. Packages and changes
Packages are curated collections, not fixed baskets. You can ask to change pieces, colours, sizes, finishes or quantities before you confirm your order, and we will update your quotation. Changes requested after confirmation depend on production status and may affect the price and delivery date.
5. Custom and made-to-order items
Items made to your measurements, specifications or chosen finishes, including fitted kitchens, are produced especially for you. Once production has started they cannot be cancelled, changed or returned, except where they are faulty. Please check drawings, measurements and finish samples carefully before you approve them.
6. Delivery and assembly
- Delivery times shown on the website (for example “10–12 days”) are typical estimates, not guarantees. Your confirmed delivery window is in your order confirmation.
- We deliver and assemble across the UAE. Please make sure the property is accessible, that lifts, doorways and staircases are available and suitable, and that any building permits or access passes are arranged.
- Our free home visit helps confirm that pieces will fit. If access was not described accurately and items cannot be delivered, extra charges may apply.
- Please inspect your furniture at delivery and note any visible damage on the delivery note, or tell us within 48 hours.
7. Cancellations and returns
Because orders are prepared for you, cancellations after confirmation may be subject to charges for work already done, as set out in your quotation. Stock items may be returned only if we agree in writing. They must be unused and in their original condition and packaging, and return collection may be charged. Faulty or damaged items are covered in section 8.
8. Faults and warranty
If an item arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault within the warranty period stated in your quotation, contact us with photos and your order number. We will repair or replace it, or give a refund if repair or replacement is not possible. The warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, accidental damage, exposure to direct sun or moisture outside the product’s intended use, or the natural character of materials.
9. Liability
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. As far as the law allows, our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.
10. Intellectual property
The text, images, designs and branding on this website belong to Mayfair Living or our licensors. You may not reuse them without our written permission.
11. Privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when your order was confirmed.
